Peterborough Sports football club was founded in 1908 and were initially known as Brotherhoods Engineering Works a non-competitive factory side for the company that was founded by Peter Brotherhood in 1867 that was famed for designing and manufacturing the first steam turbine engine in the world. The club honours its heritage to this day with the turbine engine featuring in the club badge and “The Turbines” as the club nickname.

They are looking for a Marketing Student/Graduate for their football club Peterborough Sports. This individual would ideally need to have a keen interest/ understanding of football in addition to marketing and events skills. This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate.

Pay rate: £12.00 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience
Location: Remote working with frequent visits to the football club located in Peterborough and liaise with the Manager in organising events/publicity/sponsorship. This role would also be based occasionally at their office in Glinton. (Peterborough)
Hours: Part time whilst studying and then full time once studies complete
Term: 14 weeks as a temp role and then permanent for the right candidate.
Start date: ASAP

Marketing/Media/ events for the football club
Increase awareness for the FC
Increase match day attendance for the FC
Social Media
Sponsorship
Player Sponsorship
Match day Sponsorship
Club house hire/events
Organise events/ raise funding
