We are looking for a Degree Apprenticeships Operations Assistant to join the Degrees at Work Team on a full-time temporary basis.
The details are:
Dates: ASAP until 27th September 2019
Times: Mon – Fri 09.00 – 17.00 (16.30 on Fridays)
Pay rate: £11.41 per hour
Location: Cambridge Campus
• Using a variety of internal and external resources collect, generate and manage apprentice and employer data in line with GDPR requirements.
• Accurately complete data entry into ARU systems using a variety of internal and external sources to strict deadlines.
• Coordinate apprenticeship data to support the registration of apprentices with their Assessment Organisations.
• Support Degree Apprenticeship Project Coordinators with the monitoring and tracking of apprentice on-boarding activity and the preparation of contract documents, completing other ad hoc tasks as and when appropriate.
• Maintain and update apprentice’s evidence files in line with ESFA Funding Rules, gathering evidence from a range of sources.
• Liaise with apprentices and their employers regarding any missing evidence in a professional, courteous manner.
• Support the work of Degrees at Work in ensuring Anglia Ruskin University is fully compliant with the ESFA Funding Rules at all times, raising potential issues with the Degree Apprenticeship Operations Manager and working on solutions.
• Support the work of the team by, on occasion, arranging room bookings, resources and catering for meetings.
• Such other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your grade.

1. Considerable administration experience
2. Good IT skills including Microsoft Office software. Previous experience of ASTRA/SITS would be an advantage.
3. Proven customer service experience
4. Experience of data collection and input
5. Excellent, demonstrable written and oral communication skills
6. Excellent numeracy skills
7. Proactive problem solving skills and a “can-do” attitude
8. Experience of supporting a number of different people across a wider team
9. Experience of planning and prioritising own workload
10. Excellent attention to detail and highly accurate processing skills
11. Flexible and open to change at short notice
12. Ability to work to tight deadlines
