HOURS: Minimum of 12hrs a week, maximum of 37hrs
WORK PATTERN: Flexible, anything from 3 to 5 days a week
PAY: £13.60 per hour
JOB PURPOSE: Based in the Faculty of Science & Engineering, the role is to provide admin support for the resource activities and help during staff shortages.  You role will help with the following: 
  • Process day-to-day financial requirements including expense claim forms
  • Order equipment and services using Corporate credit card and via other internal systems
  • Maintain the on-line card approval system and reconcile the credit card statements at the end of the month, ensuring no anomalies.
  • Monitor stationary and order supplies, ensuring best practice and cost efficiency
  • Responsible for accurate inputting of all financial transactions onto the system and analysing the database to produce reports and resolve queries as required.
  • Produce monthly income reports for internal and external clients and check over the details.
  • Raise invoices on time and accurately.
  • Monitor project budgets to ensure they are not exceeded and resolve any issues with the Heads of School or their delegates
  • Act as a point of contact for resource issues and provide assistance to faculty colleagues.
  • General administration functions in the Dean's Office as directed by your manager, this may include organising reprographics.
  • Manage and maintain an efficient and organised electronic filing system.
  • Comply with Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR requirements in all working practices maintaining confidentiality, integrity, availability, accuracy, currency and security of information as appropriate. Take personal responsibility for all personal data within own working environment. 
  • Such other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your grade. 
We are looking for a candidate with good administration experience, attention to detail who can work efficiently and accurately. We can consider 2019 graduates but not from the Faculty of Science & Engineering
