About DRS:
DRS is an alternative legal services provider to the financial services sector. Trusted by banks, asset managers, hedge funds and trading firms across the globe, we provide solutions that deliver rapid and efficient negotiation and remediation of document portfolios.

Established in 2009, DRS is a legal and regulatory consultancy with approximately 120 members of staff, operating both on-site and off-site from offices in London and Newcastle.

Our market leading team is led by our directors who all have extensive legal and industry expertise within financial services. We enable our clients to manage their business critical contracts effectively, assisting in driving both their commercial objectives and legal and regulatory compliance.

The Opportunity:
We support large scale projects for our clients within risk and regulation; providing thought leadership, assisting with project delivery and outsourcing consultants.
We are always on the lookout for bright graduates who are interested in working with our clients onsite and DRS HQ in London, Scotland and nationwide. We have opportunities within project management, data analytics and IT.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the delivery of key activities, business analysis activities within the team as an integral part of a programme of work.
  • Collaborating with interdependent programmes to define scope, manage complexity, leverage data sets and implement processes to enable the function to deliver results
  • Coordinating workflow, queries, data control and budgetary requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle and supporting the Project Manager to achieve deliverables.
  • Supporting multiple streams of activity, with a large focus on stakeholder management.

Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with people at varying levels of seniority.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and utilise problem solving skills.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills are required with a proven ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook). Strong Excel skills (e.g. including vlookups, pivot tables, Macros, SQL) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience within a financial/banking/professional services environment is essential.
  • A 2.1 degree or above required.
  • A Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Geography or Engineering degree is desirable.
