Job summary 
Our planning consultancy service is growing and we have opportunities for candidates currently studying towards a recognised town planning qualification through to qualified Town Planners. It’s an exciting time to join this established service and be a part of our next phase. 
Our planning consultancy service includes site appraisals, application enquiries, preparation and submission of applications, representation at meetings or planning enforcement matters and planning appeals including representation at hearings and inquiries.

Skills and experience 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a planning environment and/or be studying towards an accredited town planning qualification, or be a newly qualified planner who is eligible for  membership of the RTPI. We are also interested in chartered/qualified town planners who have experience and may be looking for a change. We will consider part or full time. 

You should be able to work effectively with other team members, and be able to work unsupervised.

Integrity with excellent attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate must be able to build good working relationships with clients, showing empathy and understanding of their needs to provide a service of outstanding quality.
